The Luigans concept is "orthodox and authentic," in which all rooms have an ocean view.

Each of the 98 guest rooms (including the only suite) are designed to maximize the amount of natural light. Every room offers views of Hakata Bay. Directly below is a wide green garden and a deep blue pool; soft ocean breezes blow, the sound of the waves soothes the heart, and Hakata city center is clearly visible across the ocean.

In the morning an impressive sunrise awaits. During the day the beautiful coastline softens the atmosphere, and at night the distant lights of Hakata sparkle -- there are yet further delights. All drinks in the refrigerator are free of charge, there are specially selected bath and toiletry goods and a fun, resort-style poolside breakfast in the morning. At The Luigans, guests can spend time in the full and relaxing atmosphere of our hospitality.

In line with the hotel's underlying concept, the 7th floor features desks, chairs and other amenities specially ordered from Mexico, the birthplace of famous architect Luis Barragan. These various furnishings brighten the floor.

Towels

Our towels are made from the high-quality cotton of San Joaquin Valley in California. It is a highly lustrous and balanced yarn with a beautiful appearance and a firm yet luxurious feel. This premium-standard cotton is used in 5-star hotels.

Bathrobes

Our bathrobes use exclusive yarns based on Aswan Nile Egyptian cotton 18/1. In absorption, luster and softness, these products are of an internationally high standard.

Sheets

These use the world's highest level long fiber yarn, China's Shinkyomen No. 60. The weaving is lustrous and feels great on the skin. The sheets come from high quality international production areas. We can confidently assure guests of an excellent night's sleep.

Nightwear

Our nightwear uses the highest quality cotton as raw material -- the "Giza 45" ultra-long fiber that is Egypt's best. Its attributes are a glossy silk-like luster, and a luxurious tactile quality which is light and soft to the touch. It provides a wonderfully comfortable fit and possesses good moisture absorbency.

Accent slow cushions

These cushions use lustrous silk-like materials made in Belgium, the prime production area in terms of leading-edge color trends, and are beloved by the European upper classes. The designs are of a colonial style but with a minimal, boldly modern twist. Used on the beds, these pillow cushions are of a luxurious size and provide great back support.
