Coming by car

- Approx. 30 mins. from the Koga IC exit off the Kyushu Expressway. From the Koga IC exit, head toward Fukuoka on National Route 3. Turn right at the Omori intersection, then left onto Prefectural Route 538 at the Mitoma 3-way intersection, followed by a right onto Uminonakamichi Road via Parkway Ave.

- Approximately 8 minutes from the "Island City Exit" on the Fukuoka City Expressway. Get off the Kyushu Expressway "Dazaifu IC" and head to the Fukuoka City Expressway. Get off the Fukuoka City Expressway "Island City Exit" and go through the Umi no Nakamichi Ohashi Bridge.

Coming by Train/ Shinkansen

• - Approximately 5 hours from Tokyo Station or Shinagawa Station to Hakata Station on the Tokaido-Sanyo Shinkansen (bullet train) Line.​ ​

• - Approximately 40 minutes from Hakata Station. Take the JR Kagoshima Main Line From Hakata Station to Kashii Station. Change to the JR Kashii Line and get off at Uminonakamichi Station. From there, it's 6 minute walk to the hotel.
• - Approximately 35 minutes from Nishitetsu Kaizuka Station. Take the Nishitetsu Kaizuka Line From Kaizuka Station to Wajiro Station. Change to the JR Kashii Line and get off at Uminonakamichi Station. From there, it's 6-minute walk to the hotel.

• ※ To guests coming to The Luigans. - A free shuttle bus operates from the Hakata HEARTS bus terminal, a 5-minute walk from Hakata Station. Please feel free to make use of it at your convenience. 
• ※ To those using wheelchairs - Both Hakata and Kashii Stations are equipped with elevators. At Uminonakamichi Station, there is a ramp between the platform and the park entrance. A station attendant can meet your train to guide you. Please ask for assistance before boarding at Kashii Station. When changing trains at JR Wajiro Station and Nishitetsu Wajiro Station, only stairs are available. A station attendant would be there to help you.

• - Approximately 15 minutes from Marizon (Momochi Seaside Park) on the Uminaka Line. Take the Uminaka Line from Marizon (Momochi Seaside Park) and disembark at Uminonakamichi Pier. It's then about 1 minute's walk to the hotel.
• - Approximately 15 minutes from Bayside Place (Hakata Pier) on the Uminaka Line. Take the Uminaka Line from Bayside Place (Hakata Pier) and disembark at Uminonakamichi Pier. It's then about 1 minute's walk to the hotel.

• ※ It's possible to go to Hakata Pier from Hakata Station.  (From the Hakata-ekimae E bus stop, take the bus for Hakata Pier. It's about 20 minutes' ride.)
• ※ To those using wheelchairs. Only folding wheelchairs can be taken aboard the high-speed ferry.

Coming by Bus

• ・ Approximately 60 minutes from “Tenjin (in front of Central Post Office) 18A” (Extra departures are available on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, approximately every 30 minutes) Nishitetsu Bus Tenjin (Island City) Uminonakamichi Line. Get on the “Shikanoshima Elementary School” line from “18A”, get off at “Marine World Uminonakamaichi” and walk about 2 minutes.
