Located along the peninsula that leads to Shikanoshima, commonly known as "Umi no Nakamichi", THE LUIGANS Spa & Resort is the only resort hotel located within a national park out of the 18 in Japan.
The vast grounds cover approximately 540 hectares. There are ocean view rooms overlooking the cobalt blue sea, one of the largest lawn gardens in Japan, a coastline that continues from there, palm trees swaying in the breeze, and colorful seasonal flowers... You can enjoy seasonal events and activities, leisure and sports, and there are plenty of attractions, including the aquarium "Marine World," within walking distance. Spend a special day that you can't find anywhere else in this luxurious, extraordinary space.

THE LUIGANS Garden
Adjoining the hotel is a garden with one of the greatest expanses of lawn in Japan. These sprawling grounds fairly invite you to come and unwind. You can also look forward to the seasonal events and activities we've prepared for you.
POOL
An azure pool surrounded by palm trees. The location is like a tropical resort where the blue sky that penetrates through and the ocean blue of Hakata Bay spreads without obstructing the view. There is also a children's pool.

Uminonakamichi Seaside Park, abounding in the beauties of nature, where you can enjoy getting close to seasonal flowers and animals. The Uminonakamichi seashore, with its opportunities for water sports. Nestled in such an environment, The Luigans Spa & Resort makes an ideal base of recreation.

Events
Summer here is a time of poolside entertainment, barbecues, fireworks, and our popular cinema nights. In spring, there's strawberry picking. All four seasons bring events to highlight their special charms.

There's an abundance of activities to enjoy in the vicinity of the hotel: strolling among the natural attractions of Uminonakamichi Seaside Park or Shikanoshima; marine recreation in Hakata Bay; serious sports like tennis and golf; and such easygoing pastimes as making the rounds of tourist spots or just following your curiosity where it leads among the charming byways of Hakata.

Facilities
As of April 2019, we have newly added a large public bath and a gym that guests can use free of charge. We have a variety of facilities to help you enjoy a fulfilling hotel life, including a spa using YON-KA, which is only available in Kyushu, a restaurant, and a gift shop.
